The chicago bulls had an on edge season. nobody knew the bulls would be in or out the playoffs into the last game of the season. just sneaking barely past the heat for the 8th seed. chicago went on to take on the 1st seed the boston celtics. shocking a lot of people chicago wins game 1 and 2 in boston. looks likes chicago was moving on the right track.
Rajon Rondo goes down with a broken thumb so he is now out for the season a least the first round any ways. the bulls begins to look unprepared for this injury as they loses the next two games at home. can they focus on the tasks at hand.
During the regular season the bulls played 13 games without Rondo, he started 42 games and came off the bench 27 games. averaging only 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists a game. he difinetly seems to run the show on the court, Rondo scored 12 points.recorded 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in game 1. 11 points. recorded 9 rebounds, 14 assists, 5 steals in game 2. in these four games of the playoffs the two games with rondo the chicago bulls averages 68.2 % from the field 25 assists 57 rebounds. with out rondo the chicago bulls averages 40.7% from the field 14 assists 52 rebounds.
As you can see numbers don’t lie. the question is can chicago find there swag again! or is being bench with Rondo.
